years Michael has participated in master classes given by John
Williams, David Russell, Nigel
North, Fabio Zanon, Paul
Galbraith, Gary Ryan, Craig
Ogden, Gorden Crosskey, Simon
Dinnigan and Nicola Hall. He occassionally
takes lesson with world famous American concert guitarist Ben
Verdery.
Since graduating, Michael has established himself as one of the most competent and popular classical guitar teachers in Dorset as well as performing throughout the UK with duet partner Hayley Savage and in solo concerts and recitals. |

In 1999 Michael successfully gained a place on Yehudi Menuhin's Live Music Now scheme and in 2000 was accepted into the Incorporated Society of Musicians. In 2001 Michael gave his first concert tour of Hawaii to coincide with the release of his fourth album Solo which includes music by Sanz, Barrios, Tarrega, Lauro, Martin, Tesar and Bach. In 2006 Michael will be touring throughout the UK, and recording two new albums of guitar minitures and music from the Americas. He plays a Torres style guitar by Lewes luthier Rohan Lowe. |
